I saw U-N-I perform a few months ago and recently saw Rob Roy perform and they are all insane. I can't wait to see what Y-O is going to wear!!! I love his style. Since the Freestyle is the core women’s sneaker product from Reebok they have decided that the expression of “Freestyle Women” is best suported through this Stylist Series. The Exhibition kicked off in New York on June 18th, then moved on to London and Munich, currently in Hong Kong then Paris. Reebok teamed up with a stylist and up and coming photographer in each city that worked together to each interpret a specific Freestyle shoe as a piece of photographic artwork. While the album is edgy and Hip Hop oriented, Amanda Blank is an old hippie at heart: life is all about peace, love and having fun! The album features production from Diplo, Switch, and XXXChange plus guest spots from Santogold, Lykke Li, The Cool Kids, and Spank Rock.

Amanda Mallory aka Amanda Blank was born in a neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania called Germantown. Here she became a member of the performance art band Sweetheart. She is also a collaborator with the rap group Spank Rock, most notably on the track "Blow" off of the mix CD Bmore Gutter Music and later "Bump" off the album YoYoYoYoYo released in 2006. She has also done collaborations with Plastic Little, Ghostface Killah, M.I.A., Aaron LaCrate, Santigold, and Teki Latex. Furthermore, she appeared on Bmore Gutter Music, which was produced by Aaron LaCrate and Low Budget of Hollertronix. Her songs have appeared in HBO's Life Support and CSI: NY Episode "Buzzkill." I love this guys flow and creativity. He has stacks and stacks of great tracks. "Obsessed" is a dark track I found on youtube this morning and describes the song being from the mind of a stalker thats is obsessed with a famous actress. He previously killed her but is too obsessed to realize it. As a result of this he continues to call her and leave messages. The first message is before he kills her and the second message is after he kills her. This track was produced by Thelonious Martin. This kid has mad skills too.

SInce I heard Rob Roy's Fur In My Cap at the start of the year I've been waiting for the chance to see him perform. I was lucky enough to be in LA this weekend and got to check out his show at Jam City at The Crosby in Santa Ana. His performance was so crazy and he sure works up a sweat! If you haven't yet giving your ears the tasty treat of King Warrior Magician Lover I suggest you get right onto it. He is certainly going to be one to watch. He is a really good dude too, down to earth and sweet to the bone. I'm a fan for life!
